Yes – we finally got round to it.

Six years and 381 Smith hotels (and counting) after our first hotel visit in the name of Smith, we’re launching our Budget Boutique Hotel collection. It’s something we’ve always wanted to do – compile a list of the best value beds in the world – so there’s considerable excitement in the air at Smith HQ.

So far, we’ve pinned down around 50 hotels in 11 countries, that we feel offers a fully fledged boutique-hotel experience, without the usual luxury-hotel price tag, and, of course, we’ll be adding to our list all the time and we’ve listed our top 10 budget boutique hotels here
