Thanks for the comment - much appreciated. I responded also. Of course I don&#039;t really think hotels are dying - but I do think travellers are more demanding and hotels will either have to improve their game or travellers will go elsewhere. As I said in response to your comment, we spend an average of 200+ nights a year in hotels and our disappointing stays are outweighing the enjoyable ones. And we&#039;re finding it&#039;s often the award-winning, Conde Nast hot list hotels that are often the worst, and some tiny boutique place in the back of beyond with an idiosyncratic style, exquisite attention to detail, and personalized service will come out miles ahead. Interesting days ahead for hotels I think.</description>
