Yes, Adelboden probably isn't the first destination you'd think of if you were launching a Swiss hotel collection, BUT Smith picks its destinations based on whether there are hotels we feel are worth raving about – and it just so happens that Adelboden's Solis Cambrian is one of the loveliest we've found. I confess, I haven't visited in summer (although I understand there are some great walking trails), but when I was there in December and the whole valley was thigh-deep in snow, it was simply magical. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Bern region... Hi HH. From Bern you pass Fruetigen to the Steg - Kandersteg Autoverlad. When there is no snow in Fruetigen Adelboden is not ok.... I was really amazed to read this is your first Swiss addition....
