Smith Style Alert: Hong Kong’s Secret Stylist
Posted by Lucy on February 3rd, 2009NEWSFLASH! Smith Travel Blog’s newest insider expert, fashion editor Toni Jones will soon be sending us monthly style updates – more on our globetrotting fashionista later this week – but for now here’s her first fashion newsflash, from China…
If you’re a shopaholic heading to Hong Kong, you need to meet the Secret Stylist.
Say what? This fashionista blog gives you an insider’s guide to the best boutiques and markets, vintage steals and even high street hotties. This week, she’s loving the accessories at Amandarling in Kowloon, and the global sample sale in Central.
Stay where? Philippe Starck-clad pad, the Jia Hong Kong. It’s in the heart of Hong Kong’s shopping hub, Causeway Bay; every room has its own kitchenette, so you can indulge your palate’s preferences for dainty pastries and fashionably light lunches.

Causeway Bay has really revamped itself since the 80’s and the 90’s (the last time I was there). Glad to know that there is a boutique hotel in that neck of the woods in HK.
