Visited the Chelsea Show yesterday and it was a fantastic day out. We glided up river on the Thames Executive river boat from Embankment discussing where we should start and all that the day had in store. Once inside it was straight to the show gardens and they were all pristine and sparked several discussions on the design and planting - our favorite the perfume garden. We visited many of the stands in the main marque and wondered at the quality of the plants and displays - many photos were taken. Before we left we managed to fit in a Roy Lancaster talk - a real must - check out so as not to miss this one if repeated - a very enthusiastic plants man. We left tired by inspired and gently strolled back to catch the river boat back down the river wondering at the growing traffic jam. What a fantastic way to share an inspiring day with your mother.

Amazing flower sculpture! Chelsea would really make for a unique travel experience. The Do's and Don't are definitely going to save people a lot of trouble.
