Cook-off at Cotswold House
Posted by Caroline on April 13th, 2010At the end of this month, things will be hotting up in the kitchens of Cotswold House as four chefs lock horns in the quest for culinary supremacy in Chipping Campden…
If you’re free on 30 April, hit the golden Cotswolds for a four-course bonanza fresh from the hands of some of the country’s big-gun chefs. As well as the home boy, the hotel’s own Damian Clisby, there’ll be visiting contenders in the shape of London hotel Brown’s Lee Streeton, James Golding from the Hampshire-set Whitley Ridge Hotel and Dorset hero Mark Hix, of oyster and chops fame. They’ll be taking on a course each, and waiting patiently for news of the diners’ favourite.
Things kick off at 7.30pm, and the event costs £85 each, including champagne, canapés and all of your wine. If you fancy sticking around for the night at this dream designer pad, a special package including the dinner and an overnight stay in a Standard King Room for two costs £340. Smith members can also currently get a free Sunday night, if they stay Friday and Saturday, until the end of April.
