Home Hotel is a lesson to us all – rather than resting on its laurels, the hip hideaway has given its (already seductive) interiors an off-season spring clean, adding hand-painted 1930s wallpaper (one William Morris original; some plucked from France) to its seductive Superior Rooms. Buenos Aires street artist Pum Pum was given licence to lavish the pool bathroom and the entrance to the Loft Apartments with her whimsical murals and the bar has had a makeover – gaining a hardwood floor, vintage Americana chairs (from a local flea market) and some bespoke barstools. Why this week? To celebrate its recently revitalised rooms, Home is rewarding guests with a boutique hotel offer: stay in a Superior Room for three consecutive nights this September and be treated to a free 60′ massage at Home Hotel Spa per guest. To make you feel really at home, guests also get a welcome cocktail prepared by the award-winning barman.

When it’s time to dine, pull up some chairs at the resident bistro and sample takes on classic Latin American dishes such as huevos rancheros (fried eggs with corn tortillas and chilli) and bistec a caballo (steak, fries and a fried egg).
Mr & Mrs Smith say ‘Located on a quiet street among the cobbled pavements, lilac jacaranda trees and historic houses of the sprawling Palermo Hollywood district, guests can pretend they’re residents of these cool, cutting-edge parts.
And this is a home they’d be proud of. Bright sunshine streams through the part-open building onto the clean white and wood inside. Aside from the floral, vintage Scandinavian design, eco credentials and tailor-made spa products, the big gun is the grounds. The set-back and secluded garden is immaculately kept, with neat jasmine- and fern-dotted lawns, and a wood-flanked pool with sunloungers sporting the signature blooming print…’
