Double take: The Times two-for-one offer

Posted by Sarah on October 11th, 2010

Hot on the heels of our last (wildly successful, if you’ll pardon the impudence) two-for-one promotion with The Times comes another boutique giveaway – but this time, it’s super-size. No less than 70 hotels have made the cut (compared to the last lineup of 40 finds), dotted across glamorous locations such as Italy, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. (There are some in the United Kingdom, too.)

Book a two-night stay at any of the hotels on our super-stylish shortlist and pay just half-price – that’s a two-night minibreak for as little as £80
a couple. It gets even better: for the first time, every single hotel is offering some weekend availability – so get in there early and book yourself a weekend for less. To claim your half-price getaway, all you have to do is collect three of the six passwords being printed in The Times. The first appeared on Saturday 9 October, with a new password debuting each day from Monday 11 to Friday 15 October.

Once you’ve got three passwords, simply choose your hotel at www.mrandmrssmith.com/times and either book online or ring our team of boutique-hotel experts on 0845 034 0700 – remember to have your passwords at the ready. Stays must be booked by 20 November, but can be taken until 9 January 2011 (subject to availability, of course).

If you’re a Times+ subscriber, you don’t need to collect passwords – you’ll be given them all up front on day one. Subscribe to Times+ now and get your passwords first.

  1. It looks like a great deal… what a shame your website isn’t accepting the codes published in The Times! If you can’t get something simple like your website correct, what hope do we have?

  2. @Chris – I’m really sorry you’ve had problems with the passwords published in The Times. We did have a short-lived problem with the password ‘Retreat’ published this morning, but it was fixed at 9.30am.

I’ve tested it again just now, and the following passwords definitely work: Boutique, Retreat, Luxury.

Press ‘Submit’ after you’ve typed in the passwords and the buttons to book each offer will appear.

I can’t apologise enough – but rest assured the offer IS working. We’ve taken a lot of bookings so far, and hope that we can help you with yours.

Let me reassure you that this offer is definitely worth taking up! If you’d prefer to book offline, I can ask one of our travel team to call you back.

    Kind regards

  3. Which passwords are you using Christopher?
