If you can’t find something suitable in time for Valentine’s weekend, how about giving your other half an IOU? Surprise your Mr or Mrs with a written promise to take them away soon: then you can book something special for late spring when the weather’s nicer, and when you won’t have to sit with other smoochy-woochy couples or endure wandering rose-sellers interrupting your night out. If you’re brave (and have deep pockets), why not let them choose where they want to go from a stylish hotel guide? Or set a limit on your love (tsk, tsk) with a hotel voucher. Happy planning!
