We’ve got a bumper bundle this month, with new hotels spanning the globe from Langkawi to Lisbon. Foodies in particular, you’re in for a treat…

We’ve gone gourmet for June with three new foodie fantasies: St John Hotel, a sleek London retreat where nothing’s skipped on the nose-to-tail menu; The Bull Inn, a picturesque Dorset pub serving tasty local fare; and, in Honolulu, The Waikiki Edition, a hip Hawaii hangout serving sublime sushi.

Elsewhere, we’ve got two new Hamptons hideaways: The Surf Lodge and Ruschmeyer’s, both in Montauk.

In the Caribbean, cove-side Le Sereno on St Barths charmed us with its Continental cool. Over on the Amalfi Coast, we fell for Villa dei D’Armiento, a park-set manor house near Sorrento. As for city stays, Palacete Chafariz d’El Rei, a fine former palace in Lisbon, wins the prize.

Amanwella boutique hotel, Tangalle, Sri Lanka

In Asia, we welcome another batch of boutique hotels in Sri Lanka, including Casa Colombo, a designer crash pad in the Sri Lankan capital, and our first stay in temple-fringed Kandy, The Kandy House. For glam coastal getaways, check in to colonial-chic Amangalla in the historic centre of Galle, or in beachside Tangalle, visit laid-back The Last House or Amanwella, a stylish all-suite hotel that’s the last word in luxury.

Straits Collection boutique hotel, Penang, Malaysia

Our Malaysian collection grows, too, with Temple Tree, a rustic-luxe offering in Langkawi, and Straits Collection, a bijou bolthole with lashings of heritage charm in Unesco-listed Georgetown, Penang.

Don’t forget to check back next month for fresh finds in Santorini, New Orleans, Delhi and the Maldives
