Rosewood Tucker's Point boutique hotel | BermudaSummer is tantalisingly round the corner, so this month we’ve travelled round the globe to bring you the brightest, sunniest, beachiest stays on four continents.

We kicked things off at romantic The Byron At Byron Resort & Spa in Australia, where we fluttered like the resident birds and butterflies between ravishing rainforest and glittering lake. Then we hopped over to Point Yamu by Como (below), a Med-inspired Phuket bolthole with its own private island, before gawping at mesmerising Bosphorus views from Vault Karaköy, in the heart of Istanbul’s up-and-coming arty district.

We hit Lisbon’s cobbled hills and Fado clubs from Memmo Alfama, a laid-back townhouse sitting pretty over the River Tagus, before striking west across the waters.

Our first Panaman beauty El Otro Lado (bottom right) had us at the first tip of its variegated hat (the hammock-strewn houses and creative Caribbean cuisine helped, too). In Santo Domingo, we holed ourselves up in Casas del XVI‘s luxurious colonial suites, before checking out the sun-splashed private beach at Rosewood Tucker’s Point (above) in Bermuda and the cool rock-chic stylings of the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles.

Our final stop on our whistle-stop tour was Topping Rose House, a Bridgehampton hideaway that comes with bikes and cars to borrow, Pilates classes in the barn and beach passes – after all, no summer round-up would be complete without a slice of the Hamptons.

Drop by in June to see where our travels have taken us…
